Summary of the Past 8 years.....

Where the Wedgeworth's started:

I was in college at JCJC in 2003, I was living in Ellisville with Amber and Amanda on Hwy 588. B.J. was working at the Laurel Country Club living at home. Me and BJ met each other at Gabe's shop, Gabe and Amber were dating. When me and BJ started dating on July 4, 2003, Amber and Gabe broke up soon after that (go figure lol). Well we pretty much didn't waste any time after that we got engaged that Dec. 21, 2003 (during a Greenbay football game at halftime) and we had decided that we were going to get married in October. But after i thought about it i really did not want to wait so i decided that April was a good month. We planned an entire wedding in 3 months of course with the help of friends and family. So on April 3, 2004 the Wedgeworth's were established.

We were married at Shelton Baptist Church, i had 7 bridesmaids ( maid of honor: Brook Nelson Gatlin, Bridesmaids: Leslie Thrash, Miranda Eaton, Lindsey Sanders, Amanda Smith, Amber Kimes, and Bobbie Gail Graham. My junior bride was my niece Shelby Thrash, and my Flower girl was Haley Thrash). He had 7 Groomsmen (best man: His Daddy, Harry Wedgeworth, Groomsmen: Gabe Windham, Travis Thrash, Jeremy Wade, David Anderton, Benji Wedgeworth, and Rueben Wedgeworth). Junior Groom was Justin Willoughby and Ring bearer was Jackson Wedgeworth. That was just a small run down of the wedding, the reception was also at the church, and the honey moon we went to Gatlinburg for almost two weeks. Our Cabin that we stayed in was called the "Memory Maker" and oh boy was it true to its name. This is where our adventure really starts.

We were sitting at home one night and i had cooked breakfast for supper, just sat down with my plate and took the first bite and got sick all of a sudden. I then thought back and told BJ it was one of two things either i had a virus or i was pregnant, he said na its just a virus. So about midnight i could not take it anymore i sent him to walmart, he came back and sure enough i was pregnant, it was about one in the morning by then. i called Amber and told her to get to the house now, then we went to his parents, and my parents and told them, (yes at 2:00 am i woke my parents up to tell them, then i asked them if they were mad, mom done some calculations ;) and said nope cant be mad now. That was on a Thursday night, i got up and went to work Friday morning, i was working at Kirkland's, called My doctor and had an appointment for the next Monday, well while i was at work Friday afternoon i started having some problems, so mom and BJ and Brook (my best friend and cousin in the whole wide world) met me at the emergency room at Wesley. They done some blood work and ran a few test and told me i was pregnant but i was trying to miscarry, so they were going to do a routine ultrasound and go ahead and prep the room to do a D and C, even though we just found out the night before we were devastated, they were all trying not to cry for my sake, but i knew they would bust out in tears just as soon as i left for the ultrasound. Which they did they took me down to do the ultrasound, i was in the room with the ultrasound technician for at least 45 minutes asking her all sorts of questions, and she would not answer me at all, i was so worried and so upset. Then she said ok we're done and she put me back in the wheel chair and i ask her her one more time if everything was ok, and she left me alone in a room in my wheelchair and said "everything is fine your having twins, I'm going to get the Dr." i wasn't sure whether to cry, laugh, scream, or pray? i think i done a little of it all. They pushed me back to my room and My mom and BJ and Brook were all still there and had been crying their eyes out, the nurse said she has something to tell y'all, i just looked up and said everything is fine, but its TWINS!!!! BJ turned white as a ghost, bent down and kissed my forehead and left. From that moment on there has never been a dull moment in our lives!!!!

So on January 4, 2005 God blessed me with Harley Elizabeth Wedgeworth 5lbs 12ozs, @ 6:13 pm, and Hayden Ray Wedgeworth 6lbs 10ozs @ 6:15 pm, two of the most precious gifts i will ever receive, perfectly healthy big twin babies, and they have been know as "the babies" ever since. They are now six years old, so I'm going to just highlight their lives to bring us to current day and time.

As you will be able to tell in most of the pics of Harley and Hayden, yes im one of those twin mom's that match their twins a whole lot. This is a pic on the way to a family reunion.
